     2nd Baron Glanusk Joseph Henry Russell Bailey was born on 26 October 1864 at Crickhowell, Breconshire. He married Edith Elma Sergison on 6 August 1890 at Cuckfield, Sussex. 2nd Baron Glanusk Joseph Henry Russell Bailey began military service on 3 January 1900 Capt Bailey was promoted to Major in 1900 and appointed a Companion of DSO for services in South Africa during Boer War. He was appointed Lord Lieutenant of Breconshire in 1905. He lived in 1906 at Glanusk Park, Breconshire. He died on 11 January 1928 at age 63.
