She died on 13 February 1984 at Little Milford, Newtown, Powys, Mid-Wales, at age 85.1 She was buried on 18 February 1984; Ashes scattered in woodland on Dolfor Hills. A Service of Thanksgiving held at United Reformed Church (Congregational Chapel), Newtown.

He married Ruth Edith Bankes, daughter of John Eldon Bankes and Edith Ethelston, on 16 April 1912 at St Peters Church, Northop, Flintshire; Bridesmaids were Miss Ruth Lewis, Kathleen Robson, Miss Irene Ram, Miss Elizabeth Yates, Miss Miriam Owen and Miss Joan Price. Pages, Master Edward Bankes, Master John Hamner, Master Fitzhugh and Master A Ethelston. Best man - Hon Hugh Joicey. Honeymoon in Porlock, Somerset.1,2,5 William Marshall Dugdale lived in 1916 at Pendalog, Llanfyllin, Montgomeryshire.6 He began military service in March 1916 as part of the Montgomeryshire Yeomenry, Royal Welsh Fusiliers. Major then A/Lt Col. The Battalion served in Palestine during 1916 and 1917, taking part in the 1st and 2nd Battle of Gaza, then in early 1918 they moved to France and fought in the Second Battle of the Somme, remaining in that area until the end of WW1.7 He was awarded the DSO for war service in Palestine, almost certainly the First Battle of Gaza. on 1 January 1918.8 He lived in 1919 at Llwyn, Llanfyllin, Montgomeryshire; Moved from Pendalog to Llwyn on the death of his father. He died on 13 November 1952 at age 71. A memorial service was held at Llaniblodwel Church; Memorial Service held at Llaniblodwel Church.9

He died on 17 January 1887 at age 46.2
