     John Perkins was born in 1840. He died in April 1842. He was buried on 11 April 1842 at St Davids Cathedral, St Davids, Pembrokeshire; John Prkins abode Llanfyrn buried 11/4/1842 aged 2.¹

He married Rebecca Griffiths, daughter of Richard Griffiths and Elizabeth Cormack, in September 1847.¹ Captain Joseph John was employed by Awarded a Master's Certificate of Service No. 41998 in 1851 for 20 years in the British Merchant Service in the coastal and foreign trade. in 1850.² He was employed by Served on ship Industry from Milford Haven. Discharged Nov 1855 in 1851. He was employed by Capt of Research, 154 ton vessel from Milford. (No 39040) in 1856. He died on 21 March 1858 at Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, at age 39; Yellow Fever.³ He left a will in 1860; Will proved.

     Richard John was born in 1849 at Solva, Pembrokeshire.¹ He was at sea in 1864.² He was was awarded his Certificate of Competency as Second Mate in Merchant Service. Certificate No 89279 on 12 December 1868.³ He was was awarded Certificate of Competency as Second Mate. Certificate No 95688. (Second time). on 4 March 1872.³ He was was awarded Certificate of Competency as First Mate. on 21 March 1873.³ He was employed by !st Mate on John Elliot, with uncle Thomas Griffiths as Captain circa 1874.
